policy may include repatriation costs as well if it does then your insurance company will work out if it is going to be cheaper for them to bring you back home to receive further treatment than it is to keep you there. Obviously they will need to make sure and check with your treating doctors that it is safe to do so. Sometimes if you are holidaying in a country that is still developing, your insurance company will transfer to another country that is able to provide a higher standard of care.
